So we kept hearing word of this huge storm coming in, and after seeing what it was doing in Chicago, I was a bit worried that we might actually get the snow storm of the century. Last night I vigilantly checked my school's emergency web site for word that it was closed. After all, back in Michigan my undergrad was closed for only the third time in their history, and it hadn't even begun to snow yet. I was getting a kick out of the fact that everyone was referring to it as a Snowpocalypse. Anyways, the news finally came that my classes for today were cancelled, as well as a preceptor thing I was supposed to have with a psychiatrist. I was elated, not that I was planning on going to class even if we did have it since its recorded, but now I don't have to feel guilty about not going :-)
So today gave me some time to try on some of my latest purchases from J.Crew, and try out some pictures outside. We didn't end up getting all that much snow, maybe 3-4 inches, but its starting to come down again now so maybe we will get more, who knows.
Cotton Bell Skirt - 6 - Longer than many or their mini's they've had lately, love how comfortable it is. Also seems very well made, the material seems like it will hold up well.
Stripe button-back tee - S - love this shirt.
Irena Gladiator Wedges - 8 - true to my J.Crew shoe size, I LOVE these sandals
Cashmere femme cardigan - M - Very warm and cozy
Stripe button-back tee
Lighthouse cardigan - M - absolutely in LOVE with this sweater. It is very very cozy and made of a nice thick knit. This will definitely become one of my staples.
Stripe button-back tee - S - this color was much brighter than online, but I love it
Shirred Chambray skirt - 6 - I liked this one but am not in love with it. Either way, I think it will be a nice alternative to the jean skirt of my youth. What do you think?
Sailor Sweater - S - This was actually much thinner than I had expected. Also, the sleeves seemed to come up to a strange point, being right about at my elbow. It doesn't bother me that much though, I still think its really cute! Will make a nice light summery sweater.
OOTD, even though I stayed inside the whole day :-)
Have a great day, stay warm!
XOXO Jennifer
